Russiagate??? - more than Egg in the Face for Main-Stream Media

When will "Mainstream" Journalists finally admit that they messed up and misreported the whole story of the so-called Russian interference in the American election 2016?

The Mueller report is now out. Many center left, and center-right politicians and media outlets throughout the western world, but mostly in the US were counting on a damming judgment and proof that the Russians are responsible for the election of Donal Trump.

Even after the report did none of this, there is a total reluctance and refusal to acknowledge finally that the Democrats messed up the elections on their own, that the treatment of Bernie Sanders probably did more damage then any outsider could ever do.

Neither was there an apology for all the bullying against some independent journalists like Glen Greenwald or Matt Taibbi, who by continuing to report facts were publicly accused of being Russian spies.

The US influenced by own admissions more than 81 elections in the last 70 years, some by violently overthrowing elected governments like in Iran or Chile. In 1996 the US massively influenced the outcome of the Russian election and proudly reported, that they got Jelzin re-elected.

So, one wonders how they could even dare to pretend moral outrage

Maybe the Russians did try to influence elections.

Where they successful, probably not. The Kreml never did hide, that they preferred Trump to Clinton - who after all compared Putin to Hitler.

It would be great, to finally concentrate on more critical issues, including all the crimes and corruption committed by the Trump-government
