We should not exclude military intervention
There is this country, where half the citizens believe their president is illegal and came to power through cheating. Voter fraud and suppression are standard procedures. A lot of these practices are very racist and disadvantaged the poor. Oh, - the poor in this country of Billionaires, they suffer ill health, lousy nutrition, work far too many hours, and seem to be caught in a debt trap. To add insult to misery, they are made believe, that it is their own fault and shortcoming.
Parts of the government there are deeply corrupt, with lobbyists and super PACs just one of the symbols. An ever farther concentration of wealth in fewer hands plus increasing monopolizing of whole sectors of the economy are some of the signs. The profits are private, but the costs are socialized.
The current president is probably insane. Still, he is the head of one of the most powerful militaries ever, with spynets all over the world.
In his hands are weapons of mass destruction, more potent than anything anybody has seen, and his country has used them.
The population suffers under the common illusion of exceptionalism and a mission from God. If not stopped, they will try to impose their will and ideas on many more countries, by forcing “liberation” on them and leaving in its path death, ruins and destroyed civil societies. Meanwhile, the military-industrial complex makes money off every war and nobody seems to know how to stop this cycle.
The world needs to come together. It is time that every country takes a stand and decides if in the future we want to let this bully terrorizing all of us ever more. Together we might be able to overcome this scourge of humanity. Maybe we actually may need military intervention.
I am sure the people will welcome us as liberators and would as well be happy to die as collateral damage to have their country made genuinely free and democratic.
The time has come to consider military intervention in the USA
